Gooooood Morning Clarkson Outing Club!

Here are the meeting minutes for October 29, 2014.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

 Please return all gear that you have taken out.  Gear hours are Monday from 2 to 4 andFriday from 1PM to 2:30PM.  Contact Patrick (conlonpc@clarkson.edu) or Paul (doernepm@clarkson.edu). Patrick will also be looking for help during gear hours to organize and inventory the club gear.  Go help him to get service hours!

– Tom also needs all climbing gear to be returned so that it can be databased.

– We have a TON of New Climbing Shoes so make sure you get a chance to try them outespecially if you want to go to the climbing comp.


– Speaking of which, tomorrow (Thursday 10/30) is the SLU Monster Plastic Pull which is a costume bouldering competition for expert and first time climbers alike.  We will be meeting outside of Cheel to car pool to SLU at 5 PM the comp ends at 8 and we should be back to Clarkson by 9.  Make sure you wear a costume!
– Evan (tougaser@clarkson.edu) is looking for help on Friday from 2:30 to 4:30 in the ski cage.

– Dan the Man (jaremcd@clarkson.edu) is trying to re-do the club media boards and he needs Your Best Pictures.

-Jim Elmer (elmerjc@clarkson.edu) will be holding an intro to fly fishing next monday.  Email him if you are interested

-Mitch (frechemf@clarkson.edu) is writing a Guidebook for the Glenmeal Bouldering Area that many of us have enjoyed this semester.  He is trying to think of names for the routes there and needs your help! Email him with route name ideas!

TRIPS GOING OUT

Thursday:
                Whitewater Kayaking,  Stone Valley, John (sullivjm@clarkson.edu) will be leaving campus at 11am tomorrow to get some late season paddling in

Friday:
                Hiking,  Sawteeth Mtn,  Adam and Dave will be night hiking Sawteeth Mountain in honor of Halloween.  This trip is closed sorry

Saturday:
                Hiking,  Cascade and Porter,  Kyle (stonekt@clarkson.edu) will be hiking an easy set of high peaks in a snow storm

Sunday:
                Hiking, Rocky Peak Ridge, Adam will be finishing his 46er this Sunday on RPR this trip is also full

Hiking, St. and Nye or Giant/RPR, Patrick (conlonpc@clarkson.edu) will be leading an intro to winter hiking trip on Sunday

“Sometime this Weekend”
                Climbing,  Keene,  Jake (brownjp@clarkson.edu) will be climbing at some point
